With the turning of this new year, I felt inspired to begin to share my Sound Baths here online through this community here on Substack. I’ve (finally) learnt how to get a good sound set up using my home studio gear, and they feel just as potent as the in-person sessions.

These videos will all be 20 minutes in duration, it’s the perfect amount of time to pop yourself into a quick meditation with the sound vibrations of the month.

I encourage you to find a peaceful place where you won’t be disturbed, get comfortable and perhaps find something to cover your eyes. Headphones are recommended for full immersion into the sound scapes.

For this new moon we are working with the energies of Aquarius as both the Sun and Moon rest in this archetype in the Zodiac.

Aquarius is a sign that is greatly geared towards the collective evolution of humanity, it is here for the revolution and to throw out all old and outdated systems. It is forward thinking and focused on liberation for the future. It is the sacred rebel, and it is here for you to find personal individuation in your life. It can also be pretty extra-terrestrial and eccentric!
During this new moon in Aquarius, this transit meets up with the generational planet of Pluto, which amplifies our collective shadows in this archetype, and Mercury, the planet of communications. So it might be bringing some uncomfortable feelings to the surface. The new moon dwells in the dark phase, it is internal and contemplative, so this is a great time to gaze into the still and dark mirror of reflection and question your true intentions that align with your Soul’s evolution for the future.
